摘要： The invention relates to a processing machine and to a method for operating a processing machine. The invention is based on the object of providing a processing machine and a method which allow an automated drying process in a processing machine. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that data relating to the subject are supplied to the control console (16) for a processing job and signals from the control console (16) are supplied to the control device (14) taking into account said data, and the control device (14) zonally actuates and activates or deactivates a particular radiation/drying apparatus (6) over the format width of the printing substrate, taking into account the subject.
