    摘要: A lock includes a housing, a keypad disposed on the housing, and a latch assembled with the housing. The keypad includes a plurality of button assemblies, each including an axially depressible button member including a camming surface, a lock wheel having a plurality of camming teeth, and a latch releasing feature secured to the lock wheel for rotation therewith. Pressing the button member causes the camming surface to engage one of the plurality of calming teeth, thereby incrementally rotating the lock wheel between a plurality of rotational positions. When the button members of a predetermined one or more of the plurality of button assemblies are depressed a predetermined number of times, the latch releasing features of each of the plurality of button assemblies align with a plurality of blocking features of the latch to permit lateral sliding movement of the latch from a locked condition to an unlocked condition.

    摘要: A turnable lock (10) operable with driver (15u) and tumbler (15l) pins when positioned by a key (16) at a shear line (18) in which shearable assembly pins (15a) are assembled in the lock (10) and thereafter sheared to form such driver (15u) and tumbler (15l) pins for operation thereon. Each assembly pin (15a) is selectively weakened at a plurality of locations (17) which correspond with notched depth heights of the family of keys (16) capable of insertion in the keyhole. Such weakening is controlled so that pin shearing can be accomplished by application of rotational or linear forces applied to any part of the lock (10) except the key (16). When linear forces are used the tumbler or plug (13) may be indexed to employ a driver pin (15u) as a plug lock.
