    摘要: A debris shredding pick-up head system for use with a surface cleaning vehicle comprises a housing having an interior and a suctioning bottom opening in fluid communication and debris transfer relation to the interior, and defining a fore-aft axis. There is a debris receiving inlet in the housing for receiving debris to be shredded into the housing, and a debris outlet in the housing for permitting debris to egress from the housing. A debris path connects together in fluid communication the debris receiving inlet and the debris outlet. A debris shredder is operatively mounted in the housing for shredding debris within the interior of the housing, to thereby produce shredded debris to egress from the housing through the debris outlet.

    摘要: An apparatus comprises a main hopper having a surface cleaning configuration and a sander- salter configuration. In the surface cleaning configuration, the main hopper has a debris-laden airflow ingress, an airflow egress, and a debris dumping egress, and is substantially sealed to the ambient surroundings other than the debris-laden airflow ingress and the airflow egress. In the sander-salter configuration, the main hopper has a sander and salt receiving ingress and a sand and salt egress. In use, and when the main hopper is in the surface cleaning configuration, substantially all debris-laden air enters the main hopper through the debris-laden airflow ingress, substantially all air exits the main hopper through the airflow egress, and substantially all debris exits the main hopper through the debris dumping egress. In use, and when the main hopper is in the sander-salter configuration, substantially all sand and salt enter the main hopper through the sander and salt receiving ingress, and substantially all sand and salt exit the main hopper through the sand and salt egress.

    摘要: An air-flow controlling pick-up head for use with a surface cleaning vehicle comprises a main shroud extending between a left end and a right end. The main shroud has dust and debris outlet disposed between the left end and the right end, a substantially hollow interior and a bottom opening.     摘要: A debris-plowing pick-up head for a mobile sweeper comprises a housing defining a substantially hollow interior and having a front, a back, a left end and a right end, a top and a bottom, and a suctioning bottom opening for suctioning dust and small debris into the substantially hollow ulterior of the housing. There is a dust and debris outlet in the housing for permitting dust and debris to be suctioned from the substantially hollow interior of the housing into a hopper. There is also means disposed on the front of the housing for urging large debris toward the suctioning front opening, and a selectively operable actuation means for opening the door means for permitting the passage of debris therethrough.

The inlet of the gutter broom connector conduit is connected in air receiving relation to the air egress of the gutter broom housing and the air outlet is connected in air delivery relation to the gutter broom suctioning inlet in the pick-up head. There is a maximum amount of distance between the air egress and the gutter broom suctioning inlet. The gutter broom suctioning inlet may be disposed adjacent the first end of the pick-up head or the gutter broom suctioning inlet may be disposed adjacent the front face of the pick-up head.
