    摘要： Embodiments include a surface maintenance machine, comprising a maintenance tool chamber comprising a first side, a second side, a third side and a fourth side. A rotary broom is housed in the maintenance tool chamber and substantially enclosed by the first, second, third and fourth sides thereof. The rotary broom sweeps particulate from the surface. A vacuum system generates vacuum for drawing particulate swept by the rotary broom. The vacuum system is positioned proximal to the first side. A skirt assembly extends substantially around the second, third and fourth sides of the maintenance tool chamber. The skirt assembly has a vacuum passage defined therein and in fluid communication with the vacuum system to direct air flow into the vacuum passage, thereby drawing particulate into the vacuum passage and preventing particulate accumulation at portions of the second, third and fourth sides that are distal to the vacuum system.

    摘要： An apparatus is disclosed for a rotary head cleaner. The apparatus includes a plurality of liquid extraction devices positioned radially on a floor-facing surface of a rotary head, a driveshaft disposed between a rotary motor configured to rotate the rotary head, and a housing disposed between the rotary motor and the rotary head for supporting a wheel, and a handle. The apparatus also includes an evacuation tank having a capacity sensor in communication with an evacuation pump, the capacity sensor configured to detect when a maximum desired capacity of evacuated liquids is reached, a vacuum motor connected with the housing and configured to provide a suction force to the liquid extraction devices to extract liquid from a floor to the evacuation tank, and wherein a weight of the rotary motor, housing, handle, retractable wheel, and vacuum motor is supported by the liquid extraction devices.

    摘要： The object of the present invention is an apparatus for cleaning flooring surfaces. The apparatus comprises movement means (2) for enabling movement of the apparatus on a flooring surface. The apparatus is further provided with dispenser means (5) of a cleaning liquid, for enabling dispensing of the liquid at a flooring surface to be cleaned. The apparatus is further provided with recuperating means (10) of the liquid which enable aspiration thereof at the flooring surface to be cleaned. The apparatus is further provided with an ozone generating unit (16) and insertion means (17) of ozone into the liquid. The insertion means are connected to the ozone generating unit (16) and to the liquid dispenser means (5) in order to insert the ozone produced by the generating unit into the liquid at the dispenser means. The apparatus is therefore able to generate ozone, insert it into a cleaning liquid, such as for example simply water, dispense the liquid thus added- to and recuperate the liquid together with any dirt from the surface to be cleaned on which the ozone exerts its action.
