    摘要： A ventilation group for a livestock or industrial plant having a roof with an upper opening communicating with an external environment, at least one lateral opening being provided in a lateral wall of the plant and communicating with the environment. The group includes a collecting and conveying channel and elements fixing the channel to the roof, so that the channel is arranged below the upper opening. The channel is configured for collecting atmospheric precipitation which falls through the upper opening and for conveying it towards a ground surface. Via at least one air passage an inside of the plant communicates with the upper opening so as to generate an air flow entering the plant through the lateral opening and passing towards the environment through the passage and the upper opening.

    摘要： A ventilation control apparatus (44) for use with a building ventilation system in a building. The building ventilation system including input and outlet vents (34,36) and a fan (38). An opening (26) is formed in a partition (28) of the building for introducing ventilating air flow into the building from the input vent (34) through the opening (26) and out through the outlet vent (36). The ventilation control apparatus (44) includes a movable baffle (46) and may have a baffle counterbalance (48) attached to the movable baffle (46). The movable baffle (46) is positioned under the opening (26) for regulating air flow through the opening (26) into the building. The counterbalance (48), if used, is attached to the movable baffle (46) end weighted for closing the movable baffle (46) a desired distance relative to the opening (26) when the fan (38) is not operating and for controllably regulating movement of the movable baffle (46) relative to the opening (26) when the fan (38) is activated to create a pressure drop across the opening (26). The pressure drop creates a force which moves the movable baffle (46). The movement of the baffle (46) lowers the pressure drop and is hence selt adjusting. The baffle (46) will move to the position appropriate to the amount of air flowing. Adding weight to the counterbalance (48) will increase the pressure drop.
