The bending elements have a number of blocking elements (4) to prevent bending in the second bending direction. When used properly, the two bending elements (2, 3) extend laterally next to the finger to be protected (23), wherein the two bending elements (2, 3) are connected to each other by means of at least two connecting bridges (5, 6, 7, 8). Furthermore, the invention relates to a glove, in particular a goalkeeper's glove, having such a reinforcing element.
