Abstract:
A hair extension device is provided having a first piece having a first attachment portion and a weft portion. The hair extension device can have a second piece comprising a second attachment portion. The first and second attachment portions are configured to be pressed against each other with the wear's hair intertwined there between. One or more wefts of filaments are attached to the backside of at least one of the first or second attachment portions.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a hair extension. In a preferred embodiment, the hair extension comprises strands that are attached together in such a way as to provide a substantially flat configuration, such that opposed sides are defined. This helps the hair extension to lay flat against a person's head. The opposed sides may have different hair colours on them, allowing flexibility and additional styling options. Preferably, the aligned hairs are compressed into a narrowed tip section, which is used to fasten the hair extension to a person's natural hair, using a deformable member such as a micro ring. A method of manufacturing the hair extension, and a method of attaching the hair extension to a subject, are also disclosed.
Abstract:
A hair extension (1 ), of the kind particularly used for the thickening of hair, has a linear fixing member (2) from which hairs (3) perpendicularly branch, arranged in a flat configuration, wherein: the linear fixing member (2) is formed by two flexible tapes (4, 5) adhered to each other so as to obtain a fixing strip, with hairs embedded between the two flexible tapes (4, 5) due to a fixing adhesive layer (6) arranged therebetween; the tapes being flexible and made of thermoplastic material; the tapes (4, 5) being provided with a plurality of passing through holes all over the surface thereof; the linear fixing member (2) has at least one uncovered adhesive face provided with a pressure-activated and non-permanent further adhesive layer (8); and the tapes (4, 5) has been pressed against each other, so that the hairs (3) and the adhesive material of the fixing adhesive layer (6) are at least partially penetrated into said passing through holes, said exposed adhesive face embodies the support surface for a plurality of peelable films (9), each separated from others by a further non-permanent adhesive layer (8), the surfaces thereof being apt to be uncovered have, with respect to said layer (8), an adhesiveness greater than the rear surface of each film (9), so that said surfaces apt to be uncovered be adhesive surfaces, allows both a permanent application, through thermowelding of the fixing member, and non permanent, achieved thank to the outer adhesive layer, which can be identically repeated as many times as the number of available peelable films, then once more when the flexible tapes are directly connected to the receiving hair.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a hair band (1) having a strip-shaped carrier structure (2) and having multiple hairs (4), which project from the carrier structure (2) in a main direction (5) extending transversely to the main extension direction (3) of the carrier structure (2), wherein ends (8) of the hairs fixed to the carrier structure (2) pass through an elastic film (6) and are glued to the film (6) on the back side thereof, wherein the ends (8) of individual hairs (4) are pierced through the elastic film (6) forming the outer layer of the carrier structure (2) and are fixed to the carrier structure (2) only by means of gluing the same to the film (6) on the back side thereof, wherein the hairs (4) extend on the back side of the film (6) in the main direction (5).
Abstract:
Abstract:
Method for increasing hair volume by thickening and/or lengthening and related assembly, allowing the rapid application, even in batches, of hair extensions with connections almost invisible and perfectly incorporated, of very small dimensions and with no manual intervention required, comprising the steps of: providing one or a plurality of hair extensions (C) having respective proximal ends (7) provided with a respective connecting element (9); providing a first adhesive tape (4; 102) and adhering it to the hair (T) to be thickened on an area designed to receive said proximal ends (7); providing a second adhesive tape (3; 104; 204; 304), having an adhesive face (43; 105; 205; 305), and adhering on said adhesive face the proximal ends (7) of said hair extensions (C); adhering said adhesive face (43; 105; 205; 305) to hair to be thickened at said first adhesive tape (4; 102); and activating connection means operating on said connecting elements (9) of the hair extensions (C).
Abstract:
A cosmetic treatment method. The method includes applying an adhesive composition to human keratin materials, especially the skin. The method includes bringing fibres borne by an applicator into contact with the adhesive composition present on the keratin materials. The method includes moving the applicator away from the skin, so as to release fibres which adhere to the keratin materials, the holding force for holding the fibres on the applicator being lower than the adhesive force for adhesion of the fibres to the adhesive composition present on the keratin materials.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a replacement hair strand having a hair-joining element, consisting of a flat thermoplastic platelet (1) having a replacement hair strand (2) embedded in the end thereof, wherein in order to ensure a secure join with a head hair strand (4) at least one rib (3) running obliquely with respect to the strand direction protrudes from one of the two flat sides of the platelet (1). At the base thereof, the rib (3) can have approximately the thickness (d) of the platelet (1), and towards the free end thereof, the rib can be tapered. The height (h) of the rib (3) corresponds preferably to at most the longitudinal extent (l) of the platelet (1) extended in the strand direction.
