The section has a hollow top part 1 and a perpendicular side wall 4. The top part 1 has a planar bottom wall 2 which is secured to the front surface of the sheet by a stip of pressure-sensitive adhesive 8, and a profiled top wall 3. The side wall 4 covers the side face of the sheet and includes a groove 5 on its inside face forming a line of weakness for removing a section 7 allowing the section to be used with different thicknesses of sheet.

    摘要： A method and an arrangement for framing a poster or similar is disclosed. The arrangement comprises a frame (2) and a backing element (10) for supporting the poster (11) in the frame. The frame has a top arrangement (8) and at least two side members (5), with the two side members each being provided with a groove (6) intended to receive edge portions of the poster and the backing element. The top arrangement (8) has a slot (9) to allow the poster and backing element to be slid into the grooves (6) in the frame in a direction of insertion. In accordance with the invention, the backing element (10) is made from a material which is sufficiently flexible to allow it to be rolled up along its length corresponding to the direction of insertion so that during insertion only those parts of the backing element (10) which are either within the frame (2) or immediately adjacent the slot (9) in the top arrangement (8) lie in a plane accommodating the grooves (6).

To accommodate the hollow profiles (6) the back has an attached thin metal plate with a width a little larger than that of a hollow profile (6) to which metal plate a transparent plate (2) can be attached, which covers a poster by means of a strip of magnetic tape stuck along the outer edge. A hollow profile (6), preferably in the bottom of the frame, has a slot (8) at its top along the back edge. In this hollow profile there is inserted one or more springy elements (9) embodied with a projecting ridge (10), which can be accommodated in a groove (11) in a plane plate member (12) of a thickness approximately equal to the width of the slot (8), a width which is larger than the width of the hollow profile (6) and a length a little shorter than the free length of profile (6) between two connecting pieces. The plate (2) is attached to the plate member (12). Along the other edges the plate (2) is attached to the frame by means of magnetic tape. When a poster is to be exchanged, the plate (2) can be bent outwards at the upper edge of the plate member (12), and this prevents the plate (2) from being stolen.
