A leaf spring (11) made of spring steel is anchored under the lid and allows, when the lid is closed, a protrusion which protrudes from the lid to apply pressure to the upper edge of the single inner container so as to assuredly seal the open lower mouth of the inner containment body against the bottom of the outer one, so that after introducing the herbs and water in the lower part of the inner container and after heating the apparatus, the liquid is allowed to generate a pressure which can produce a yielding of the leaf spring, allowing the escape only of the liquid fraction and its rise, through the interspace, until it pours into the upper part of the inner container.
