摘要： A container (10) has an inner vessel (12) for containing liquid such as milk, water, juice or the like. An outer vessel (14) creates a larger volume than the volume of the inner vessel (12), so that the inner vessel (12) can fit inside the outer vessel (14). A top cap (16) secures the inner and outer vessels (12, 14) in spaced relation to each other. The top cap (16) can have an integral nipple (17) in fluid communication with the inside of the inner vessel (12). In another embodiment, a vent (18) in a top cap (16) permits air to enter a liquid holding vessel (12) as the liquid is removed. A filter (20) in the vent (18) allows the air to pass, but not the liquid, so the liquid does not spill when the container (10) is tipped.

摘要： A disposable drinking container (10) having a nipple so as to be particularly suitable for use by infants. The drinking container has a container body (12) in the form of a small bottle or the like which is pre-filled with a drinking liquid, and a container closure (20). The container closure includes a flexible suckling nipple (25) for delivering drinking liquid from within the container body. The nipple is held to the container body by a cap rim (24) and the closure further includes a sealing portion (28) which initially seals the container and shields the nipple from contamination. The sealing portion is removable to expose the nipple for use. In one form the sealing portion may comprise a projection which is integrally formed with the cap rim, and frangibly detachable therefrom. In another form the sealing portion comprises a flexible disc which is sealed around a central aperture of the cap rim. The nipple may be adapted to be at least partially collapsible into the container body whilst the sealing portion is in place.

摘要： A feed and drink bottle is made of plastics material preferably by an aseptic process. In its basic form the bottle (2) has a mouth (4) intended to be sealed with a closure (10) put in place after the feed has been put in the bottle through its mouth. The bottle is rendered unfit for re-use as a baby's bottle, thus making it disposable either by preventing the closure from being able to be removed from the body of the bottle once it has reached its fully engaged position, or by preventing it from being replaced in a fluid tight position once it has been removed. The closure (10) has a teat (24) secured to it in an irremovable manner, as by the teat being clamped between the closure and a retainer member (18) held in place in the closure, or by the teat's being bonded to the closure. When the closure and teat are formed as a single unit, the unit may be used more than once on a body (2) of aseptic plastics material, thus putting back on the user the responsibility of ensuring that the body is sterile or aseptic before such re-use.
