When the adjusting socket is selectively assembled with one of the fixed portions at different positions, the elastic body passing through the extended socket and the adjusting socket changes its elasticity in accordance with extension amount.

In fact, one of the posts can be removed if desired so that only one post is in use. Each post is height adjustable independent of the other. This allows that supports to be positioned at two different levels, if desired. Each post has a support secured to it using a bracket that can be set to a wide range of angles.

On the pedal (45) of the pedal section, a removable pedal cover (46) fits perfectly, on which are placed slippers (47), having slots (50) to allow straps to pass. The pedal covers (46) have a lateral element with a nut screw (52) which permits the screwing of a rod (53). On the axle of pedal (45) it is possible to insert a specially formed handle instead of the pedals, using straps to fix the hand in position. A flywheel (63) can be assembled with the mini exercise-bike.

The apparatus also preferably includes a load modifier (55) which adjustably engages the connection linkage and allows the rate of mechanical loading to be varied.
