A gaming table comprises a table top having a top and a bottom surface adapted to receive an exchangeable insert. For instance, the top surface is configured to receive gaming accessories and defines an exchangeable insert bed. A base is connected to and configured to support the table top. A table top exchangeable insert is configured to be located within the exchangeable insert bed, wherein the insert includes a securing structure, for releasably securing the table top exchangeable insert to the table top to provide the ability to conveniently change the insert as desired.

The invention mainly relates to a printed playing mat intended for covering the surface of a board which is built into a playing table, which is essentially characterised in that said printed playing mat comprises a lower hook-and-loop fastener layer (13) intended for being on the side of the board (14) and capable of engaging with, such as to form a removable bond, a hook-and-loop fastener element (15) secured to the circular or ovoid side edge of the board (14) or to each of the adjacent side edges (14a) of the board (14). The invention also relates to a playing board covered with such a playing mat and comprises a hook-and-loop fastener element (15) secured to the side edges of the board.

A playing card handling device is disclosed. The device includes a first side and a second opposite side. Components of the device include a card infeed tray, a card output tray and a card handling zone. The card infeed tray and card output tray are on the same first side of the device and an upper surface of the card infeed tray and an upper surface of the card output tray are in the same plane. Card handling devices of the present invention also include a touch screen display, as well as a movable card gate.
Abstract:
There is provided a two-dimensional code capable of performing accurate recognition. The two-dimensional code includes: a code data portion (102) where a plurality of square cells (106) are two-dimensionally arranged to constitute code data; and a plurality of corner cells (104) arranged so as to surround the code data portion (102). The corner cells (104) are configured with a greater area than the square cells (106). When the two-dimensional code is imaged by an imaging device, the corner cells (104) can be recognized in a large scale, thereby improving the two-dimensional code read accuracy.

A card reader for a blackjack table comprised of a card reading means (20) and a housing (12) therefore, said housing attachable to the blackjack table. The card reading means (20) has associated therewith a light source, a means for energizing said light source (60), and a platform means (22) coplanar with said blackjack table defining an aperture (40) for reading a portion of a face-down playing card. Said aperture (40) is covered partially by a cover means (42) to minimize the opportunity of blackjack players other than the dealer to view the portion of the card being inspected. A reflective surface (54) is disposed generally below said aperture means (40) to reflect the portion of the face-down cad being read through the non-covered portion of the aperture to reveal to the dealer any indicia on the portion of the face down card being read. There is also disclosed herein a method for increasing the speed of play in an organized game of blackjack.

An elliptical, poker table incorporating two dealer stations with each dealer station including one or more of the following: automatic card shuffler, chip rack, poker cards and drop box. In one configuration, the two dealer stations are positioned oppositely on long sides of the poker table and may be offset from one another. The poker table layout may include two chip areas at each player station to accommodate different sets of chips - one for each poker game being played simultaneously. The poker table layout may depict two distinguishable common card areas and betting areas. Chip separators may be positioned near each player station to maintain an independence of player chip stacks. One poker table incorporates a live dealer station and electronic poker system permitting a live poker game and electronic poker game to be played substantially simultaneously.
