摘要： This invention relates to a kind of coding method and related miniature keyboard for western characters. The invention assigns a 3-digit number that has specific value to every western letter. The 3-digit number corresponding to a letter is the code of this letter, which is composed of three numbers, namely, 0, 1 and 2. The total of corresponding modes that correlates the three-digit code with letters of alphabet is the factorial of 26, which is 4 x 10 26 . The data input keyboard that introduces this coding principle can be simplified as to a miniature keyboard that is consisted of only three input keys, which can be used as data input device for small portable electronic equipment and the like to replace traditional large keyboards. Besides, this coding method can be designed as a kind of tool for character games.

摘要： Provided is a word search device which has a simple structure suitable when provided to a small-size device such as an electronic dictionary and searches for the answer to a cryptic crossword. The word search device includes: a character input device (20) for inputting a clue to the cryptic crossword and the number of characters of an answer word; a word list storage unit (41) for storing a word list containing a plurality of words; a word search unit (12) for searching the word list storage unit (41) for a word that has the number of characters of the answer word contained in a character string composing the clue; a conditional word comparison unit (14) for comparing the word retrieved in the word search unit (12) with the character string composing the clue to judge whether or not a predetermined condition is satisfied; and a display device (30) for displaying the word judged to satisfy the predetermined condition based on classification according to the predetermined condition.

摘要： The present invention relates to a kind of English letter coding method and a small keypad. The present invention assigns three figures having a determinate value, which represents the code of the letter to each English letter. The code is composed of three numbers : 0, 1, 2. The total number of the manners in which the three-bit code corresponds to the every letter in the alphabet is the factorial of 26: 4X10 . By using this method, the conventional keypad for inputting data can be simplified to a small keypad composed of three input keys. This small keypad can replaces the conventional keypad for using in a small mobile electronic device to input data. In addition, a word game tool can be designed by using this coding method.
