摘要： A field crop spray apparatus comprises a carrier which can be coupled to an agricultural tractor. A plurality of frames are attached to the bottom of the carrier. The free ends of the frames are provided with rotation dampers to which an elongated blade is fitted. This blade runs parallel to the carrier and sprayers are present on top of the blade. The field crop spray apparatus further comprises a cylinder which is connected to the carrier, and also a piston that is movable inside the cylinder and is connected to the blade.

摘要： A fluid bearing nozzle assembly is disclosed that has a hollow cylindrical body, an inlet nut fastened to the cylindrical body, and a hollow tubular shaft member coaxially carried within the housing body and captured between the inlet nut and the body. The inlet nut has a stem portion extending into a central bore through the shaft member forming an inlet bearing area rotatably carrying the shaft member thereon. The shaft member has a spray head fastened thereto for rotation of the head with the shaft member. An inner wall of the housing body and an outer portion of the shaft have complementary shapes forming a regulating passage therebetween. The shaft has helical grooves that spiral around the shaft to one or both ends to impart rotation to the shaft and spray head.

摘要： An impact sprinkler has a nozzle connected to a housing and a discharge deflector member connected to a rotatable shaft assembly without a dynamic seal between the nozzle and the deflector. The sprinkler has different replaceable nozzles and discharge deflectors for providing desired discharge characteristics. The shaft assembly and housing have contacting braking surfaces outside of the water flow providing a frictional braking force dependent on both water flow rate and pressure. The sprinkler has a deflection member for rotating an impact assembly relative to the shaft assembly while a pin supports the impact assembly at a position above the deflection member. A lower portion of the shaft assembly may be positioned in a housing recess, and a highly wear resistant material may be disposed on a surface of either the shaft assembly or the recess for providing improved wear characteristics.

摘要： A firefighting medium is allowed to escape from a nozzle through apertures, the nozzle being provided with an internally arranged valve in sealing contact with a valve seat until the valve is released from its sealing position. The release is caused by a heat sensible release mechanism acting on the valve, whereby the sealing effect of the valve is relieved. A locking force required for maintaining the sealing effect by a removable cap or cover is provided, attached to the nozzle front, the locking force being established between at least two interacting surfaces. By releasing the sealing effect of the valve by removing the locking effect between the two interacting surfaces, the cap or cover is allowed to drop off its seat on the nozzle, relieving the press causing the sealing effect on the valve of the nozzle, the removal of the cap or cover caused by releasing mechanism.
