    摘要: An apparatus is provided for cleaning one or more surfaces within a vessel (200) having a vessel wall separating a vessel exterior from a vessel interior and having a wall aperture. The apparatus has at least one elongate conduit (202) having an upstream first end and a downstream second end and positioned to direct a shockwave from the second end into the vessel interior. A source of fuel and oxidizer is coupled to the conduit (200) to deliver the fuel and oxidizer to the conduit. An initiator is positioned to initiate a reaction of the fuel and oxidizer to produce the shockwave. At least one sensor (206,207,208) coupled to the conduit (202) to detect motion indicative of a detonation. A control system coupled to the initiator, the source, and the sensor (206,207,208) for receiving input from the sensor and controlling operation of the initiator and source responsive to said input.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus are provided for cleaning a surface within a vessel (20). A fuel/oxidizer charge is provided within a combustion conduit (26). An initial deflagration commenced in a first portion of the charge produces a final detonation at least in another portion of the charge to expel a shockwave from the conduit (26) which impinges upon the surface. The deflagration-to-detonation transition may be encouraged by mechanical enhancements and/or by making the first charge portion more detonable than the second. An initiator (106) is positioned to initiate a reaction of the fuel and oxidizer to produce the shock wave within the conduit for generating the shock wave. A source of purge gas (98) is positioned to introduce the purge gas to the conduit (26) to drive reaction products of the fuel and oxidizer downstream.

Um genügend Zeit für die erforderliche Positionierung des Sprengmittels (5) zu erhalten und um eine besonders effektive Sprengwirkung zu erzielen, wird gemäß der Erfindung vorgeschlagen, dass das Kühlmittel (4) in den als Doppelrohr mit Kühlkopf (10) und Versorgungskopf (11) ausgebildeten Kühlbehälter (1) über die Lanze (3) in den Versorgungskopf (11) einströmt, durch das Innenrohr bzw. den Innenkühlmantel (27) bis zum vorderen Ende des Kühlkopfes (10) geführt wird und dabei an dem das Sprengmittel (5) enthaltenden Sprengmittelbehälter (25) vorbei strömt und dann zwischen dem Innenkühlmantel (27) und dem Kühlkopfgehäuse (23) wieder zurück zum Versorgungskopf (11) und von diesem aus der heißen thermischen Anlage heraus gefördert wird. Vorzugsweise wird neben dem Sprengmittel (5) ein granulatförmiges Schüttgut (55) angeordnet, das bei der Detonation infolge der entstehenden Druckwelle gegen das zu zerstörende Material geschossen wird.
