    摘要: A disc brake lathe for machining a brake disc on a vehicle without removing the disc from the vehicle, but only the wheel and other parts of the brake mechanism. The disc brake lathe comprises a power drive unit (3) for rotating a brake disc on the vehicle and a lathe head (2) having at least one cutting tool (15) for machining the disc while being rotated by the power drive unit. The lathe head is adapted to be mounted on the vehicle and includes a motor for power feeding of the at least one cutting tool in each of two opposite directions during machining. Vibration of the lathe head during machining, which causes rough surface finish on the machined brake discs, is avoided or reduced by the provision of a vibration damper (50) which is attached to the lathe head for absorbing energy of vibration.

    摘要: A device (1), for holding a movable tool holder (5) at right angles to a shaft (3) for turning a brake disc (7) on a vehicle, has a coupling section (11), which is formed by a plate (13) that is fastened against a hub (17) on the shaft (3), and securing devices (19), in the form of a disc (23), for securing the tool holder (5). The device (1) also has devices for holding the tool holder (5) at right angles to the shaft (3). These devices are formed by a hinge construction, which is built up of a sphere (29), which is fastened on an ancillary shaft (33) that is fastened in the plate (13), and two scale-shaped parts (35, 37). The scale-shaped parts (35, 37) can be pressed towards each other by turning a hollow nut (39), so that they can be clamped onto the sphere (29) and block the hinge construction.
