    摘要： A thermal printer (1) includes: a housing (2) including a roll sheet receiving portion (21); a cover (3) which is pivotably attached to the housing (2), and is configured to open and close the roll sheet receiving portion (21); a platen roller (40) which is rotatably supported on the cover (3) via a bearing portion (43A); and a thermal head (31) which is to be brought into press contact with an outer peripheral surface of the platen roller (40). The cover (3) includes a cover main body (50) and a base member (60) which is fixed to the cover main body (50). Directions orthogonal to an axial direction (D3) of the platen roller (40) and also orthogonal to each other are defined as a first direction (D1) and a second direction (D2), respectively. The cover main body (50) includes a first holding portion (51) which supports the bearing portion (43A) from one side in the first direction (D1). The base member (60) includes a second holding portion (62) which supports the bearing portion (43A) from the other side in the first direction (D1). The first holding portion (51) is located on one side in a second direction (D2) with respect to the bearing portion (43A), and includes a first claw portion (51a) protruding to the other side in the first direction (D1) along an outer peripheral surface of the bearing portion (43A). The second holding portion (62) is located on the one side in the second direction (D2) with respect to the bearing portion (43A), and includes a second claw portion (62a) protruding to the one side in the first direction (D1) along the outer peripheral surface of the bearing portion (43A). The first claw portion (51a) and the second claw portion (62a) face each other in the first direction (D1).
