Any of the time mode (201), the plan and surface mode (202), and the log mode (203) is automatically shifted to a dive mode (204) when the diver is confirmed to come under the water. When the diver again comes to the surface after the mode is shifted to the dive mode (204), the dive mode (204) is automatically shifted to the plan and surface mode (202). Thus, even when the diver comes to the surface, the diver can immediately make a diving plan without operating an outer operating member.
