摘要： An airfoil (30) having a suction surface (36) and a pressure surface (38), the surfaces joined together at leading (32) and trailing portions (34) of the airfoil, the pressure surface diverging toward the suction surface at a corner, the surface diverging at the corner (40) by an angle approximately equal to or greater than at least 30 DEG , such that an air stream flowing from the leading edge and over the pressure surface separates from the pressure surface at the corner. The fan therefore has thick nose section (41) and is substantially thinner over the majority of its chord length. One or more guide ribs (50) extend from the pressure surface to control the flow of boundary layer air.

摘要： On décrit un aubage présentant une surface aspirante et une surface de pression, les deux surfaces étant jointes aux bords d'attaque et de fuite de l'aubage et la surface de pression s'écartant vers la surface aspirante dans l'un de ses angles. Ladite surface s'écarte dans l'angle d'un angle à peu près égal ou supérieur à au moins 30°, de manière à ce qu'une veine d'air partant du bord d'attaque et passant au-dessus de la surface de pression se sépare de la surface de pression dans ledit angle. L'aubage présente donc une section d'attaque plus épaisse (41) qui devient sensiblement plus mince sur la majeure partie de sa corde. Une ou deux nervures de guidage s'étendent depuis la surface de pression afin de diriger la couche limite.
