摘要： The present invention relates to a method of wrapping a load, comprising:
providing a film dispenser for dispensing film;
operating a rotational drive to provide relative rotation between the film dispenser and the load during a wrapping cycle;
operating a film dispensing drive of the film dispenser to dispense the film during the wrapping cycle;
sensing a demand for film for wrapping the load by monitoring a speed of an idle roller configured to rotatably engage the dispensed film downstream_of a prestretch portion of the film dispenser; and
adjusting the film dispensing drive to control a speed of film dispensing based on the monitored speed of the idle roller.-

摘要： Es wird ein Folienschlitten (1) für eine Wickelvorrichtung beschrieben. Der Folienschlitten umfasst mehrere Umlenkrollen (2, 3, 4, 5, 6), eine Treiberwalze (7) und einer dieser in Folienabzugsrichtung (F) vorgelagerte Bremswalze (8), wobei Treiberwalze (7) und Bremswalze (8) jeweils einen gesonderten Antrieb (9, 10) aufweisen. Erfindungsgemäß wird vorgeschlagen, dass sowohl der Treiberwalze (7) als auch der Bremswalze (8) je eine anstellbare Andrückrolle (11, 12) zugeordnet ist, und dass eine der Treiberwalze (7) in Folienabzugsrichtung (F) nachgelagerte Pendelwalze (15) vorgesehen ist, die am freien Ende eines am Folienschlitten (1) angelenkten, mittels wenigstens eines Aktuator (18) betätigbaren Hebelarmes (16) angeordnet ist, wobei zur Einstellung der Folienspannnung der wenigstens eine Aktuator (18), sowie die jeweiligen Antriebe (9, 10) der Treiberwalze (7) und der Bremswalze (8) unter Ausbildung eines gemeinsamen Regelkreises für eine Lageregelung der Pendelwalze (15) mit einer Steuereinrichtung verbunden sind.

摘要： A method of controlling a load wrapping apparatus of the type configured to wrap a load on a load support with packaging material dispensed from a packaging material dispenser through relative rotation between the packaging material dispenser and the load support, the method comprising:
prior to initiating a wrap cycle, determining a number of layers of packaging material to be applied to the load during the wrap cycle;
initiating the wrap cycle to begin to wrap the load with packaging material dispensed from the packaging material dispenser during relative rotation between the packaging material dispenser and the load support;
after initiating the wrap cycle, dynamically modifying the determined number of layers of packaging material to be applied to the load during the wrap cycle; and
completing the wrap cycle by wrapping the load with the modified number of layers of packaging material.-
