摘要: A method of handling a load comprising a plurality of articles (100) is disclosed. The method comprises providing a lifting assembly (10) comprising a plurality of carrying arrangements (12) arranged one above another. The carrying arrangements are movable between proximate and separated conditions, whereby adjacent carrying arrangements are spaced from each other by a greater distance in the separated condition than in the proximate condition. The method further includes disposing the articles on the carrying arrangements when the carrying arrangements are in the proximate condition, and moving the carrying arrangements to the separated condition, thereby moving the articles to a spaced configuration. With the carrying arrangements in the separated condition, the method includes delivering the articles to a support assembly (104) to dispose the articles at the support assembly in the spaced configuration.

摘要: A bakery tray (10) includes a base (12) and a pair of opposed side walls (18,20) extending upward from side edges of the base. Front (14) and rear (16) walls extend upward from front and rear edges of the base. A plurality of recesses (46) for receiving bakery items therein are formed in the base. This increases the number of bakery items that can be received in the tray and/or permits a decrease in the stacking height of the trays, thereby permitting another tray (10) to be received on the stack. In one embodiment, the recesses are a plurality of parallel troughs (46) formed in an upper surface of the base. In another embodiment, the plurality of recesses are formed in ribs in the base, such that the bakery items are received in the recesses.

摘要: A tray (10) includes a base (12) and a plurality of walls (14,15,16) extending upward from the base (12). A first wall (16) of the plurality of walls (14,15,16) includes a projection (30) outward from the first wall (16). The projection (30) is aligned with an upper edge of the first wall (16), such that the projection (30) is outward of a portion of the upper edge of the first wall (16). The projection (30) of an identical upper tray stacked on the tray (10) would interlock with the upper edge of the first wall (16) to resist outward deflection of the upper edge of the first wall (16) of the tray (10). A platform (22) extends inward from at least one of the walls (14) to support smaller trays stacked thereon. An exterior of each of the side walls (15,16) includes an interlocking recess (24) for receiving automated handling equipment for supporting the tray (10).

摘要: An object is to provide an article storage case which is adapted to be joined to adjacent cases, which is inexpensibly obtainable, and which is easy to recycle. For achieving this object, in an article storage case (1) in the form of a rectangular prism having an opening (2) in the upper region, the outer surface of each of the opening edges of side walls (1a, 1a, 1a, 1a) is provided with a flange (3) extending outward, and the flanges (3) of opposed side walls (1a, 1a) are provided with joining elements comprising a dovetail (4a) and a dovetail groove (4b)of a dovetail joining means (4).

摘要: The invention relates to a combination of differently sized nest and stack containers. Every container (2, 3) is adapted to be stackable and nestable with identical containers (2; 3). The smaller containers (3), in a plane view, have substantially half the size of the large container (2) in a plane view so that two smaller containers (3) each can be stacked on a large container (2) in a non-slip and stable manner. The bottom of the larger container (2) and/or the lateral upper edges (35) of the smaller containers (2) are configured in such a manner that large containers (2) can be stacked on two juxtaposed smaller containers (3). The containers arranged one on top of the other in the stack (1) are provided with means which engage with each other and maintain the stacked containers in a non-slip manner when the containers are stacked (2, 3).
