    摘要: An apparatus for introducing a selected beverage into a flexible pouch (8), sealingly closing the pouch (8) and dispensing the closed pouch (8). The apparatus comprises a housing (4) adapted to, in use, accept a plurality of reservoirs (10) of beverage concentrate. Each reservoir (10) has a concentrate pump (12) provided with a diluent inlet and a mixer for mixing pumped concentrate with diluent to produce a mixed beverage. Leading from each pump (12) is flexible conduit (14) terminating in a nozzle (68) for dispensing the mixed beverage. The apparatus further comprises a multiple dispense head (20) for accepting the plurality of nozzles (68), the nozzles (68) being movable relative to a filling position such that any one of the nozzles (68) can be presented at the filling position, a means for, in use, selecting a flexible pouch (8) and bringing it into alignment with a nozzle (68) in the filling position where it is filled via an opening therein, and a means for, in use, sealingly closing the opening and dispensing the filled sealed flexible pouch (8) from the apparatus. Methods of loading a concentrate reservoir (10), disengaging a removable pump (12) and changing a removable pump (12) are also disclosed. A flexible pouch with rigid spout and mixing element are also disclosed.

    摘要: A microprocessor based control system including an electrical unit attached to a postmix beverage dispensing valve for performing the three functions of: portion control, reminding the operator to check the ratio, and adjusting the ratio. The portion control operation can be identical to known portion control devices. The reminder function can turn on a light every two weeks, for example. In the ratio adjusting function, the operator puts a single cup under the valve, pushes 'small' to dispense a predetermined volume of syrup, and then adjusts the syrup flow control accordingly until the exact predetermined volume is dispensed, and repeats the operation for water in the same cup but to a different predetermined volume. The flow rate can acccurately be set at the same time as the ratio.

    摘要: A beverage dispenser valve system in which the mixture ratio is controlled by continuous modulation of the solenoid valves. The solenoid valves have movable stop means (or push rods)- 38 that control the travel of the armature 26, which in turn controls the position of a needle valve 30 with respect to the valve seat 16 to gradually change the flow opening and thus the syrup and water flow rates. A microprocessor 68 uses the movable stop to adjust the syrup and/or water flow rate to deliver the proper ratio of syrup to water based on the flow of water and syrup as measured by flow meters 62, 64. In addition, the total flow rate from the nozzle can be controlled and varied in relation to the distance the cup lever arm 68 is depressed; thus, the flow rate can be made slow at the beginning and end, and fast in-between.
