    摘要: The system of the invention is equipped with a modified sulfur production tank (3) wherein molten sulfur from a molten sulfur tank (1) is mixed with a sulfur modifier from a sulfur modifier tank (2) to produce a modified sulfur, while the contents held therein are heated to a prescribed temperature or above; a modified sulfur intermediate material tank (5) wherein the modified sulfur from the tank (3) is mixed with a fine aggregate from a fine aggregate hot bin (4) to form a modified sulfur intermediate material, while the contents held therein is heated to a prescribed temperature or above; a kneader (7) wherein the modified sulfur intermediate material from the tank (5) and a coarse aggregate from a coarse aggregate hot bin (6) are kneaded together, while the kneaded material held therein is heated to a prescribed temperature or above; and a forming unit (8) wherein the kneaded material from the kneader (7) is stored and heated to a prescribed temperature or above, while the kneaded material is metered, poured to a mold (36), and solidified therein. The system makes it possible to give solid modified sulfur products which can be stored as nondangerous (unignitable or flame-retardant) substance and are easy of transportation.

    摘要: A reformed sulfur solidified substance producing system of the present invention includes a reformed sulfur producing tank 3 which receives and mixes molten sulfur from a molten sulfur tank 1 and sulfur reforming agent from a sulfur reforming agent tank 2 to thereby produce reformed sulfur, and at the same time, which heats the inside accommodated substance to a predetermined temperature or higher, a reformed sulfur intermediate material tank 5 which receives and mixes reformed sulfur from the reformed sulfur producing tank 3 and a fine aggregate from a fine aggregate hot bin 4 to thereby produce reformed sulfur intermediate material, and at the same time, which heats an inside accommodated substance to a predetermined temperature or higher, a mulling device 7 which receives and mulls reformed sulfur intermediate material from the reformed sulfur intermediate material tank 5 and a coarse aggregate from a coarse aggregate hot bin 6, and further, heats an inside mulled substance to a predetermined temperature or higher, and a pouring device 8 which receives and stores the raw material mulled by the mulling device 7 and heats the same to a predetermined temperature or higher, and further, measures the inside raw material and pours the same into a mold form 36. With this, it is possible to produce a reformed sulfur solidified substance which can be handled as a non-dangerous substance (here, the non-dangerous substance is a substance which does not have ignitability or an incombustible substance), and which can be easily transferred.

    摘要: A portable temperature sensing probe (10) having a plurality of thermocouples (18) is inserted into a tank (16) mounted on a truck or other receptacle at the time of loading a hot liquid, e.g., molten sulfur (14). The probe and at least a portion of the associated wiring or leads are attached to the loading pipe (22) and/or discharge nozzle, and the probe is inserted into the interior of the tank before the molten sulfur (14) is discharged. The signals from the plurality of thermocouples (18) are amplified and the corresponding temperature information is transmitted to a display and control device (30). Due to the significant differential between the temperature of the rising molten sulfur (14) and the vapors in the tank overhead space (26), the signals generated indicate which of the thermocouple (18) are in contact with molten sulfur (14) or the vapor zone (32). The generated signals adjust the shut-off valve (38) that controls the flow of molten sulfur (14) into the tank (16).
