摘要: A process for treating a pyrophoric P₄-containing material to convert it to a substantially non-pyrophoric P₂O₅ material is described. The process comprises supplying streams of fluid P₄-containing material and an oxygen-containing gas to a reactor filled with water. The P₄-containing material and the oxygen and the oxygen-containing gas react with one another after both have entered the aqueous medium within the reactor to thereby form the desired P₂O₅ material.

摘要: The invention is directed to a process for recovering elemental phosphorus values from phosphorus-containing waste materials. The process comprises reducing the size of the solid particulate materials of the sludge and forming a uniform homogenous sludge which is filtered through a high-pressure thin-cake filter resulting in a filtrate high in phosphorus values. The invention also discloses a pump retrieval means for retrieving the sludge from contaminated disposal areas and a preconditioning dewatering means for thickening and clarifying the sludge prior to comminuting the solids contained therein and filtrating to recover the phosphorus values contained therein.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for reacting and producing oxygen and hydrogen simultaneously, characterized in that the method comprises the following steps: a) reacting carbon with oxygen to form carbon dioxide, b) reacting carbon dioxide with phosphorus to form phosphorus pentoxide, c) reacting phosphorus pentoxide with calcium oxide and forming calcium phosphate, and d) reacting calcium phosphate with hydrogen to form calcium oxide as slag and phosphorus as white phosphorus and water as mixed cleaved atomic oxygen and later as molecular oxygen (O2) and hydrogen (2H2) separated from each other, and all products return to the cycle.

摘要: Disclosed is a method of recovering elemental phosphorus from a sludge that contains water, dirt, and elemental phosphorus. In the first step, the sludge is melted. A mixture is formed of the melted sludge and about 0.5 to about 3 wt% of an oxidizing agent, based on the weight of said elemental phosphorus in the sludge, and about 75 to about 400 wt% water, based on the weight of the sludge. The mixture is stirred until a continuous elemental phosphorus phase forms. The purified phosphorus phase is separated from the mixture.
