Abstract: Provided are colored resin particles capable of controlling a gap between base materials with high accuracy and suppressing light transmission. The colored resin particle according to the present invention includes a resin particle and a colorant, wherein when lightness in an L*a*b* color system in accordance with JIS Z 8781-4: 2013 is measured for each of the colored resin particle before light irradiation and the colored resin particle after light irradiation irradiated with light at an integrated light amount of 540 MJ/m2, a lightness L0* of the colored resin particle before light irradiation is 0 or more and 60 or less, and a ratio of the lightness L0* of the colored resin particle before light irradiation to a lightness L540* of the colored resin particle after light irradiation is 0.3 or more.
