Abstract:
A urethane-based adhesive composition with improved adhesiveness while maintaining characteristics of being gentle to the skin is provided. The urethane-based adhesive composition of the invention contains a urethane-based adhesive, a curing agent and a hydrophilic plasticizing agent as essential components. The hydrophilic plasticizing agent is a hydrophilic high-boiling point liquid which is compatibilized with urethane to provide a plasticizing effect, and preferably has one or more hydroxyl groups or oxyethylene groups, or both of them in a molecule. A composition ratio of the solid contents of the urethane-based adhesive composition, the curing agent and the hydrophilic plasticizing agent is, based on 100 parts by mass of the urethane-based adhesive, 0.5 to 15 parts by mass of the curing agent and 10 to 80 parts by mass of the hydrophilic plasticizing agent.
Abstract:
Provided is a method for improving thermal stability of polypropylene carbonate and, more particularly, a method of end capping a molecular chain of polypropylene carbonate using a urethane group by adding isocyanates or diisocyanates to a polypropylene carbonate resin, which may optionally be a mixture containing tertiary polyol, so as to delay thermal degradation of the polypropylene carbonate at a high temperature, thereby securing desired thermal stability. Especially, the method capable of being easily applied to reactive extrusion after preparing the polypropylene carbonate has been proposed, thus simplifying production processes and ensuring economical advantages. Moreover, the above method does not deteriorate transparency and specific smoke density characteristics at combustion, which are advantages of the polypropylene carbonate.
Abstract:

Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide an organic EO polymer having a desired Tg. The present invention provides a copolymer comprising (i) a cycloalkane methacrylate and 2-isocyanatoethyl methacrylate as monomers at an adjusted blending ratio and (ii) an electro-optic molecule (EO molecule) bound to the copolymer, thereby exhibiting a desired glass transition temperature (Tg).
Abstract:
The present invention is related to a polyurethane dispersant and a preparation method thereof. The polyurethane dispersant is terminated by a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound during synthesis. The nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound is prepared by subjecting anhydride and a compound containing a primary amine and a secondary amine or a hydroxyl or mercapto group to dehydration condensation. The condensed product is the nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compound, containing a reactive hydrogen. The structural formula of the compound containing the primary amine and the secondary amine or hydroxyl or mercapto group is shown as follows: wherein n=1 to 5, and preferably 2 to 4, R 1 and R 2 are respectively alkyls containing 1 to 8 carbons, R 1 and R 2 are independent of each other or connected by a chemical bond to form one or more saturated or unsaturated 4-member to 8-member rings, and X represents N, O, or S.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an isocyanate-containing prepolymer obtainable by reacting at least one isocyanate with at least one first compound selected from the group comprising monohydric alcohols, thiols and secondary amines; wherein the ratio of the NCO value of the isocyanate-containing prepolymer, to the OH, SH or NH value, of said monohydric alcohol, thiol or secondary amine respectively ranges from 0.0005 to 1.0000 and wherein said at least one first compound is present in a total amount of at least 40% by weight based on the total weight of the isocyanate-containing prepolymer.
