摘要: A process to prepare a cyclic polyester oligomer composition comprising a cyclic polyester oligomer having furanic units is disclosed. The process comprises the step of reacting a monomer component in a ring closing oligomerization step carried out in the presence of a solvent by means of reactive distillation. Linear oligomeric polyester species are separated and removed by one or more sub-steps of adding a zeolite and absorbing impurities onto the zeolite, separating the zeolite having absorbed impurities, cooling the cyclic oligomeric composition and/or adding an anti-solvent in order to precipitate out the cyclic polyester oligomers. The invention further relates to a cyclic polyester oligomer composition obtainable by said process and also to its use in the production of a polyester polymer, particularly by polymerization in the presence of a plasticizer, as well as the polyester polymer obtained thereby.

摘要: The invention relates to a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) polymer comprising:—diacid units derived from diacid compounds, said diacid units comprising: a) from 92.50 mol % to 97.75 mol % of terephthalic units derived from terephthalic acid (TA) or an ester thereof, and b) from 2.25 mol % to 7.50 mol % of 2,5-FDCA units derived from 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid (2,5-FDCA) or an ester thereof, and—diol units derived from diol compound(s), said diol units comprising monoethylene glycol units derived from monoethylene glycol (MEG), as well as to a method to prepare such a PET polymer. The invention relates also to the use of a 2,5-FDCA compound selected from 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid (2,5-FDCA) and esters thereof as an anti-crystallization comonomer in a PET polymer. The invention relates also to a bio-based PET polymer in which the anti-crystallisation comonomer is bio-based.

摘要: A multilayer film comprising (a) a biaxially-oriented polyethylene furanoate (BO-PEF) polymer layer, (b) an optional ink layer, (c) a bonding layer, and (d) a sealant layer, wherein the BO-PEF polymer has an O2 gas permeability of less than 0.25 cc-mil/100 in.2 24 hrs atm at 80% relative humidity, or a moisture permeability of less than 0.5 g-mil/100 in.2 24 hrs atm at 38° C., or both. The film may be formed from microlayers of BO-PEF-based polymer and polymer with a melting point of at least 5° C. greater than the melting point of the BO-PEF-based polymer.

摘要: There is provided a polyester resin including a 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid unit and a cyclohexanedimethanol unit in a main chain, in which the polyester resin is high in molecular weight, has heat resistance and hydrolysis resistance, and is excellent in mechanical properties and melt heat stability. There is also provided a method for producing a polyester resin having the above characteristics. A polyester resin including a 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid unit and a 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol unit as main constituent components, wherein the following (I) and (II) are satisfied: (I) the reduced viscosity (ηsp/c) is 0.7 dL/g or more; and (II) the sum of a cyclovinylidene terminal and a methylcyclohexene terminal is 80 µeq/g or less.
