Said motor (9) and actuator (18) are controlled on the basis of the measured thread tension. A method for implementing this feed is also claimed.

This is made possible in that the thread eye is movably mounted, performing the function which consists of guiding the thread (15) in a controlled fashion to the thread intake area (16) from all of the positions that the thread sensor can assume. Preferably, the thread guiding thread eye is the only element between the thread brake and the thread feed wheel that touches the thread. The thread guiding thread eye is positioned to be accessible at the front side of the thread delivery device. The thread can be mounted with one hand.

The invention relates to a yarn feeding device (F) for weaving or knitting machines whose winding element (W) is driven by an electric motor (M) controlled by an electronic speed control device (CU). According to the invention, the electric motor (M) is a synchronous motor, in particular, a permanent magnet (PM) motor with the speed control device (CU) provided for effecting a permanent (continuous) vector control with the stator being sinusoidally acted upon. Continuously determined information pertaining to the relevant rotational position of the rotor (R) of the motor (M) is used in the speed control device (CU), which serves to perform permanent (continuous) vector control, in order to adjust at least one predetermined rotational position (X1, X2) of the winding element (W).

The invention relates to an accumulator-feeder device for feeding yarn to a textile, knitting and stocking machines. It comprises a winding drum (15) turning around a rotating axis (X) and composed of two connected cage rotors, opposite each other, each rotor having a head (16, 17) from which rods (19, 25) protrude facing towards the head of the other rotor. Rods of said two rotors form peripherally corresponding cylindrical surfaces (A, B); a first rotor rests on said rotating axis (X), whereas the second rotor is oscillating on an axis (Y) at right angles to the rotating axis (X), and outside the plane containing this rotating axis and positioned on a level with the head (17) of said second rotor; the peripheral surface (A) of the first rotor has an axis which coincides with the rotating axis (X) of the winding drum, whereas the peripheral surface (B) of the second rotor has an axis (Z) inclined with respect to the rotating axis (X), so that the peripheral surface (B) protrudes from two diagonally opposite parts of the peripheral surface (A) forming two conical lobes (C, D) adjacent to the opposite heads (16, 17) of the drum.
