    摘要: A fluid discharge device, primarily for w.c. cisterns, has a housing (4, 9) with an outlet (5) through the base of the cistern (1). A main valve assembly (20) with a seal (21) normally blocks this outlet (5). A substantially closed variable volume chamber (26) is formed in the housing (4, 9), the main valve assembly (20) providing its base. A pilot valve (12, 30, 36), controllable externally of the cistern, can open this chamber (26) to the outlet, and there is a restricted passage (10, 49, 58, 88) between the chamber (26) and the interior of the cistern (1). On opening the pilot valve, water (and sometines air under pressure) escaping the chamber (26) alters the pressure balance and the main valve assembly (2) lifts to generate the full discharge. The flow of water can help keep this valve assembly (20) lifted, and a low pressure zone in the discharge passage can be used to keep the chamber (26) scavenged. The valves close when the discharge is completed, and replenishment water penetrates the chamber (26) via the restricted passage (10, 49, 58, 88).

The valves may be used in a variety of situations but find particular application in a cistern for providing water to flush a toilet bowl or similar. The valve arrangement (2) comprises a flushing tube (100) or a pair of flushing tubes (14, 18) which can move axially. One end of the tubes (100, 18) is sealed to an outlet (9). The tubes are provided with rings or collars (16, 22) which co-operatively engage with locking edges (48, 50) of floats (40, 44) to control movement of the tubes (100, 14, 18). The floats (40, 44) are mounted off-centre or in a position spaced apart from their respective centres of gravity so that they are free to move under the effects of gravity and the effects of lift provided by buoyancy of the floats. In operation the sequential effects of gravity and buoyancy cause the floats to hold the tubes in position and then release the tubes thereby allowing selective flushing positions.

    摘要: Disclosed is an improved dual control mode-type deodorising and water drainage valve. The water drainage valve comprises a linear control water drainage mechanism (2) and a hydraulic water drainage mechanism (3) controlled by a micro-immersible pump (31). The linear control water drainage mechanism (2) comprises a piston (21) with the piston (21) being partitioned into an upper and lower chamber by a central partition plate (211); the upper chamber is a piston control chamber for controlling the resetting of the piston (21), and the linear control water drainage mechanism (2) controls the upward action of the piston (21); and the lower chamber is a water drainage fluid chamber (24) for creating water pressure on the piston. More than one through hole (2111) is provided in the central partition plate (211) to communicate with the upper and lower chambers partitioned by the central partition plate (211), and the sum total of the size of the cross-sectional area of all the through holes (2111) in the central partition plate (211) is no greater than 15 square millimetres. The improved dual control mode-type deodorising and water drainage valve has a simple structure and can remove toilet odors and peculiar smells.

    摘要: Un dispositif de décharge pour fluides, destiné surtout aux réservoirs de toilettes, comporte un boîtier (4, 9) doté d'une sortie (5) traversant le bas d'un réservoir (1). Un corps de soupape principale (20) comportant un joint (21) obture normalement cette sortie (5). Une chambre à volume variable (26), pratiquement close, est située dans le boîtier (4, 9), le corps de soupape principale (20) en constituant la base. Une soupape de contrôle (12, 30, 36), commandable de l'extérieur du réservoir, peut ouvrir cette chambre (26) vers la sortie et il existe un conduit étroit (10, 49, 58, 88) entre la chambre (26) et l'intérieur du réservoir (1). L'ouverture de la soupape de contrôle laisse l'eau (et parfois de l'air sous pression) s'échapper de la chambre (26) ce qui modifie l'équilibre des pressions et le corps de soupape principale se soulève pour libérer toute la masse d'eau. Ce flux peut contribuer à maintenir ce corps de soupape (20) soulevé et une zone de dépression située dans le passage de la masse d'eau permet éventuellement de garder la chambre propre par aspiration. Les soupapes se referment quand la décharge cesse et l'eau de remplissage pénètre dans la chambre (26) par le conduit étroit (10, 49, 58, 88).
