摘要:
An interment system (110) comprises a container arrangement (109) configured to hold the posthumous remains of a plurality of individuals arranged one above the other. The container arrangement defines a posthumous remains receiving chamber (156) in which the remains of the plurality of individuals can be held. The container arrangement (109) may comprise an outer interment container (112) and an inner interment container (150) which can be received within the outer interment container. The inner interment container (150) defines the aforesaid chamber (156).

According to the invention, the graves are excavated and the human remains are labelled, exhumed and stored temporarily. At least one drainage layer (21) is applied to the base layer of the pit and a reinforcing steel grille (24) is laid on said drainage layer. The human remains that have been exhumed are re-buried on a degradable plastic film on top of said reinforcing steel grille (24). The grave is filled with a mixture of humus, concrete aggregate and waste wood or straw. The site is constructed from bottom to top in such a way that the base of the pit is equipped with drainage pipes that open into a drainage system. The drainage pipes and the base of the pit are covered with a layer of drainage gravel (21), which is in turn covered with a filtration textile or nonwoven (22), the latter being covered with a layer of concrete chippings (23). Buttresses (18) are sunk into the base of the pit and interconnected by concrete supports (19), thus forming crosspieces (20) that lie just below the surface of the ground.

A burial method for sustainably establishing graves 120 within woodland 1 is disclosed. The method comprises selecting burial trees 100 from a plurality of healthy established trees within the woodland 1 and carrying a set of steps for each burial tree 100 to establish a first set of graves 120. The method further comprises waiting a tree recovery period after which the steps are repeated to establish a further set of graves 120. The set of steps include determining the extent of a root protection zone 105 around the burial tree 100.

The invention relates to a funeral item for identifying and perpetuating the memory of a deceased person in a timeless fashion, made of an inalterable material, including: on the one hand, an element (1) marked with a unique code assigned to said deceased person, and, on the other hand, a pair of plates (3, 4) held together by an attachment means, both of which are marked with said unique code, the second plate comprising data for identifying said deceased person in natural language, such as to form a device for identification and remembrance. The marked element (1) is available as soon as the funeral services take charge of the deceased person, while the plates (3, 4) are made after inhumation or cremation and subsequently joined together in order definitively to form the item for remembrance and identification of the deceased person. The invention also relates to a kit and to a method for producing said funeral item for identification and remembrance.

A burial crypt arrangment comprises precast concrete cells (1) arranged in rows, with the cells (1) in each row being spaced apart and staggered relative to the cells (1) in adjacent rows. The corners (3) of cells (1) in a row are juxtaposed with the diagonally opposite corners of cells in adjacent rows. In this manner, both the spaces within cells, and the spaces between cells, can be used as burial chambers. Each cell (1) is formed by a continuous wall (2) of rectangular shape. Cells may be stacked vertically. The thickness of the wall (2) is tapered, being thicker at the top than the bottom, so that a ledge (9) is formed at the junction of stacked cells. An intermediate lid (10) can be supported in each burial chamber by the ledges (9). Each burial chamber is closed by a top lid (12). A trailer (17) can be used to raise and transport the lids (12).
