    摘要: The present disclosure provides a centralizing device and a method for using the centralizing device to immovably centralize a conductor casing within an aperture of a supporting framework. The centralizing device has one or more body portions, each having an inner surface and an outer surface, wherein the inner surface(s) are arranged for abutting the conductor casing and the outer surface(s) are arranged for abutting the framework. The body portion(s) are located within the aperture between the conductor casing and the framework for limiting movement of the conductor casing relative to the framework. Each body portion includes a first member providing the outer surface and a second member providing the inner surface. The first member and second member are movable relative to each other, to thereby permit adjusting the position of the inner surface relative to the position of the outer surface, so as to centralize the conductor casing within the aperture.

    摘要: Disclosed are embodiments of expandable bullnose assemblies for use in a well system. One well system includes: a deflector arranged within a main bore of a wellbore and defining a first channel that exhibits a predetermined diameter and communicates with a lower portion of the main bore, and a second channel that communicates with a lateral bore; a bullnose assembly including a body and a bullnose tip arranged at a distal end of the body, the bullnose tip being actuatable between a default configuration, where the bullnose tip exhibits a first diameter, and an actuated configuration, where the bullnose tip exhibits a second diameter different than the first diameter; a collet body forming at least part of the bullnose tip and defining a plurality of axially extending fingers; a radial protrusion defined on an inner surface of the collet body and extending radially inward from each axially extending finger; and a piston movably arranged within a piston chamber defined within the collet body and having a wedge member defined on an outer surface thereof, the piston being actuatable such that the wedge member engages the radial protrusion and forces the plurality of axially extending fingers radially outward, wherein, when the plurality of axially extending fingers is forced radially outward, the diameter of the bullnose tip exceeds the predetermined diameter, wherein the deflector is configured to direct the bullnose assembly into one of the lateral bore and the lower portion of the main bore based on a diameter of the bullnose tip as compared to the predetermined diameter.

The retainer(14) comprises a first clamping arm (18a) and a second clamping arm (18b) provided with clamping jaws (21a, 21b) for clamping a drill rod (9), a rock bolt or the like. The clamping arms are turned in relation to their pivot points (19a, 19b) by an actuator (20), whereby the clamping jaws move either towards or away from each other. On the portion between the pivot points of the clamping arms there are shape members that interconnect the movements of the clamping arms to make them interdependent and thus synchronize the movements of the clamping arms in both directions of movement of the clamping arms.
