A connecting device for connecting segments of concrete or similar settable material, the device including a plastics connector part (1) of dumb-bell-like form and two housing parts (4) for receiving respective opposite portions (2) of the connector part. Each housing part has an internal tapered form so that, when the housing parts are set in opposed concrete segments to be connected and the connector part is inserted in the housing parts, the taper of each housing part causes the connector part to stretch thereby providing a tensile load between the opposite portions (2) of the connector part. Preferably, the taper has two angles of slope, the leading section causing the connector part to stretch and the hind section of taper causing the connector part to be trapped therein by relieving a measure of the stretch.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Tübbing-Anordnung zum Auskleiden von Tunneln, bestehend aus einer Vielzahl von in Ringfugen aneinanderliegenden Tübbingringen. Jeder Tübbingring besteht aus mehreren Tübbingen, die in Betongelenke bildenden Längsfugen aneinanderliegen, wobei die Längsfugen benachbarter Tübbingringe gegeneinander versetzt sind. Um eine Verformung der Tübbingringe bei fehlender äußerer Abstützung in weichem Baugrund zu verhindern, werden benachbarte Tübbingringe in den Ringfugen miteinander gekoppelt. Das geschieht nach dem Stand der Technik mittels einer Nut-Feder-Paarung, über die die Koppelkräfte übertragen werden. Der Nachteil dieser Kopplung besteht darin, daß die zur Ableitung der Koppelkräfte verbleibende Tübbing-Wandstärke relativ gering ist. Somit kommt es auf der Außenseite der Tübbingringe sehr häufig zu einer Rißbildung, die zur Undichtigkeit der Tunnelröhre führt. Die Schadstellen müssen nachträglich mit hohem Aufwand beseitigt werden. Um dies zu vermeiden, wird vorgeschlagen, das Profil der Stirnseiten jedes Tübbings durch nur einen Absatz (5, 6) zu bilden, wobei dieser Absatz (5, 6) im Mittelbereich der Ringfuge (3) angeordnet ist.

A connecting pin (11) with external ribbing fits in both sleeves, which have internal ribbing, the ribbing of the connecting pin and/or the ribbing of at least one of said sleeves being of resilient material and extending in a substantially parallel direction at an inclined angle to a longitudinal axis of the connecting pin when it is, in use, inserted in the sleeves. The bore of one sleeve is of greater cross-sectional area in one dimension than the bore in the other sleeve, in which other bore the connecting pin can engage as a tight fit, whilst being able to engage in the firstmentioned bore and traverse it in said one dimension.

A tunnel liner used for a shield tunneling method for a tunnel having a diameter of 1.5 to 7 m is fabricated by dividing a ring-shaped liner into a plurality of parts in the circumferential direction. The tunnel liner is required to be excellent in the dimensional accuracy with respect to the outer peripheral surface, to be tight, to be high in strength, and to be high in water tightness at the abutment between the adjacent liners. The tunnel liner is fabricated by a method of filling each arcuate enclosed hollow form with concrete, vibro-compacting concrete, molding the end surfaces of the tunnel liner, mounting the forms within a centrifugal molding drum, and tightly molding the outer peripheral surface of the forms by applying of a centrifugal force.
