Abstract: Eine Rotationskolbenmaschine (1) umfasst ein Gehäuse (2), das mehrere Öffnungen (10, 10a, 10b) zum Einlassen und Auslassen eines Arbeitsmediums aufweist und in dem eine Welle (3) drehbar gelagert ist. Die Rotationskolbenmaschine (1) umfasst weiter zwei konzentrisch auf der Welle (3) drehbar angeordnete Rotoren (17) mit jeweils mehreren kreissektorförmigen Flügeln (19). Die Rotoren (17) sind einander gegenüberliegend angeordnet und greifen derart ineinander, dass ein Flügel (19) des einen Rotors (17) zwischen zwei Flügel (19) des anderen Rotors (17) positioniert ist. Zwei Steuerungseinheiten (6) sind jeweils ausgebildet, die Winkelgeschwindigkeit einer der Rotoren (17) derart zu steuern, dass die Flügel (19) beider Rotoren (17) mit sich zyklisch verändernden Winkelgeschwindigkeiten in einem Arbeitsraum (13) in dem Gehäuse (2) rotieren und sich die Abstände zweier aufeinanderfolgender Flügel (19) in Rotationsrichtung (R) der Flügel (19) zyklisch ändern.
Das Gehäuse (2) weist eine hohlzylindrische Laufbuchse (11) auf, die reversibel in eine Aufnahme des Gehäuses (12) eingesetzt ist. Die Laufbuchse (11) begrenzt den Arbeitsraum (13) vollumfänglich und die Flügel (19) liegen an der Laufbuchse (11) dichtend an und sind entlang dieser bewegbar. Die Laufbuchse (11) weist Einlass- und Auslassöffnungen auf. Die Laufbuchse (11) ist in dem Gehäuse (2) derart angeordnet, dass die Einlass- und Auslassöffnungen der Laufbuchse (11) mit den entsprechenden Öffnungen (10, 10a, 10b) in dem Gehäuse (2) verbunden sind.-
