    Abstract: The invention relates to a hybrid V-belt (4) having at least one traction support (2) and a plurality of blocks (6) arranged thereon and serving as support elements. The at least one traction support (2) is made of elastomer material and is reinforced with a cord ply (12). The surfaces of the traction support (2) are crossribbed or corrugated and are provided with a cover layer (14, 16). In order to enhance the fatigue strength of said hybrid V-belt, the die cord ply (12) is arranged directly in the 'lower' radially inner cover layer (14). This provides for direct contact between the cord ply (12) and the radially inner cover layer (14) in the area of the zeniths (6a, ...) of the 'lower' block slot flanks.
