The first helical compression spring has a central aperture and has a first end and a second end. The second helical compression spring having a central aperture and having a first end and a second end, wherein the second spring is coaxial with and nested within the first spring. The retainer has a base and a post that extends from the base into the central aperture at the first end of the second helical spring. The spring housing that has an interior space in which the first and second springs are positioned, and further includes a base-engaging aperture that holds the base of the retainer. The spring housing includes a drive wall that is engaged with the first ends of the first and second springs.

摘要: To provide a sealing structure with a torsional damper and an oil seal that can reduce exposure of a seal lip of the oil seal to foreign matter entering from around the torsional damper. A sealing structure (1) with a torsional damper and an oil seal includes a damper pulley (10) serving as a torsional damper and an oil seal (20). The damper pulley (10) has an annular hub pocket (30) that is recessed in the outer side direction and extends in the circumferential direction along a boss part (14) of a hub (11). The oil seal (20) includes a side lip (29) that extends toward the outer side. An outer circumferential surface (31) of the hub pocket (30) increases in a diameter toward the outer side, the side lip (29) of the oil seal (20) does not enter inside the hub pocket (30), and an annular gap (g1) is formed between an outer side end (29a) of the side lip (29) and an inner side end (31a) of the outer circumferential surface (31) of the hub pocket (30).

The groove (11) has a rectangular cross section. In a free state where the rubber ring (20) is not accommodated in the groove (11) of the rotary wheel (10), the rubber ring (20) has a rectangular cross-sectional shape corresponding to the groove (11) of the rotary wheel (10). In an attached state where the rubber ring (20) is accommodated in the groove (11) of the rotary wheel (10), the rubber ring (20) is compressed by the groove (11) in the direction of an axis (x) so that friction surfaces (22) of the rubber ring (20) are pressed against facing side surfaces (12) of the groove (11).

The spring ends, which lie against ramp steps (20) of the spring plates, radially expand the helical torsion spring as the driving torque is transmitted. The frictional torque, produced in one of the bearing points when the hub is overtaking, acts on the rotatable spring plate in the direction of rotation of the rotationally fixed spring plate. The other bearing point, according to the invention, has a part that is rotationally fixed in relation to the rotationally fixed spring plate, on which part the rotatable spring plate is supported, a further frictional torque thus being produced, which acts on the rotatable spring plate in the direction of rotation of the rotationally fixed spring plate.
