摘要: A refrigeration cycle apparatus 100 includes a casing 8 of a refrigerant circuit 10, a first heat-medium pipe 5, and a second heat-medium pipe 6. The casing 8 includes a first frame body 8a having such a tapered sectional shape in a vertical direction that an area of a lower surface part 82a is smaller than an area of an upper surface part 81a, and a second frame body 8b including a side surface part 83b having a rectangular sectional shape in a vertical direction and connected with a peripheral part of the lower surface part 82a of the first frame body 8a. The first heat-medium pipe 5 includes a first heat-medium inflow end part 5a and a first heat-medium outflow end part 5b, at least one of the first heat-medium inflow end part 5a and the first heat-medium outflow end part 5b being housed in the second frame body 8b. The second heat-medium pipe 6 includes a second heat-medium inflow end part 6a and a second heat-medium outflow end part 6b, at least one of the second heat-medium inflow end part 6a and the second heat-medium outflow end part 6b being housed in the second frame body 8b.

摘要: An air conditioner comprising a master outdoor unit (1a) having variable capacity compressors (11, 12), and slave outdoor units (1b, 1c) having variable capacity compressors (13, 14, 15, 16). A decision is made whether the ratio n of total demand capacity of respective indoor units to the total maximum capacity F(a) of respective variable capacity compressors is equal to or lower than a set value or not. If the decision result is affirmative, a high efficiency operation mode is set. In the high efficiency operation mode, each variable capacity compressor is operated with an upper limit capacity set lower by a specified value than the maximum capacity.

The apparatus includes refrigerating cycle systems each connecting a compressor 10 for compressing a refrigerant, a refrigerant flow path switching device 11 for switching the circulation path of the refrigerant, a heat source side heat exchanger 12 for exchanging heat for the refrigerant, an expansion device 16 for adjusting the pressure of the refrigerant, and heat exchangers 15 related to heat medium which exchanges heat between the refrigerant and heat medium different from the refrigerant to be able to make the heat medium different in temperature respectively, by piping 4 so as to constitute refrigerant circuits; and heat medium side systems each connecting pumps 21 for circulating the heat medium for the heat exchangers 15 related to heat medium, use side heat exchangers 26 for exchange heat between the heat medium and air of an air-conditioning target space and heat medium flow switching systems 22,23 for switching the heat medium which passes through each heat exchangers 15 related to heat medium to each use side heat exchanger 26, by piping 5 so as to constitute a heat medium circulation circuit.
