Die Erfindung betrifft ein Waffenschloss einer Handfeuerwaffe mit zwei an einem Schlossträger (1) bewegbar angeordneten Schlagstücken (2, 3), jeweils einer jedem Schlagstück (2, 3) zugeordneten Abzugsstange (6, 7) zur Halterung oder Freigabe der Schlagstücke (2, 3), einem Abzug (11) und einem dem Abzug (11) zugeordneten Unterbrecher (17), über den die Abzugsstangen (6, 7) durch den Abzug (11) aus einer Haltestellung in eine Freigabestellung bewegbar sind, wobei der Unterbrecher (17) durch eine Trägheitsmasse zwischen einer Auslösestellung zur Verbindung des Abzugs mit einer der beiden Abzugsstangen (6, 7) und einer Trennstellung zur Unterbrechung der Verbindung zwischen dem Abzug (11) und den Abzugsstangen (6, 7) bewegbar ist. Die Trägheitsmasse ist erfindungsgemäß ein um eine Querachse (8) zwischen einer Ausgangsstellung und einer Sicherungsstellung schwenkbares Pendelgewicht (9), durch das der Unterbrecher (17) beim Abschlagen eines ersten Schlagstücks (2, 3) in entgegengesetzter Richtung zum Pendelgewicht (9) in die Trennstellung schwenkbar ist.

The inventions relate to small arms. The weapon is equipped with an additional trigger mechanism and a sighting device. According to the first alternative, a draw bar is arranged within the butt, the draw bar being hingedly connected to a rotatable fork and to an additional trigger located on the left side of the butt next to the back plate in an L-shaped groove and, upon rotation of the fork under the action of a spring, extending out of the groove perpendicularly above the lateral surface of the butt by 90° onto the left side of the butt, and when the butt is closed onto a catch, the divided end of said fork grips the main trigger of the submachine gun. Posts in the form of rotatable components fixable by springs are mounted onto the sighting devices. According to the second alternative, a rotatable lever is mounted in the front lower part of the breech, in front of the magazine in a sector opening on the axis of the catch of the butt, said lever having a post on which an additional trigger with a means for fixing the horizontal and vertical positions is hingedly mounted. The lever is connected to the main trigger by a draw bar passing through the inside of the breech along the left side. The shooting accuracy is increased and the overall dimensions of the weapon are reduced.

The fire control mechanism comprises a trigger plate assembly operably located between the chamber and a magazine that is capable of housing one or more additional rounds of ammunition. The trigger plate assembly includes a latch release and a carrier that is operable to lift a round from the magazine to the chamber. The fire control mechanism further includes a feed latch that is operable to release of a round from the magazine onto the carrier when disengaged by the latch release. The trigger plate assembly and the feed latch are configurable to control the release of rounds of ammunition from the magazine during manual operation of the fire control.

A riot weapon comprises a barrel; a fixed breech block; and there-between a chamber having a loading aperture through which a round of ammunition can be inserted so as to rest against the breech block, or ejected; a loading catch for retaining a round of ammunition in the chamber; a trigger; a firing pin which can be actuated to fire a round of ammunition by moving the trigger, the firing pin having a normal rest position in the breech block; means for preventing release of the loading catch except when the firing pin is in the said rest position; means for releasing the loading catch automatically following actuation of the trigger; and means for exerting a force on the round of ammunition in a direction such as to effect ejection thereof through the loading aperture; whereby following firing of a round of ammunition and consequent release of the loading catch, the spent round is retained in place against the ejecting force solely by the frictional force between the spent round andthe breech block, the frictional force resulting solely from the residual pressure of gases generated by firing, which transiently load the spent round against the breech block. In a preferred arrangement, the means for preventing release of the loading catch comprises a delay catch capable of interlocking engagement with the loading catch and having a projection which can enter a recess in the firing pin only when the firing pin is in the said rest position; the delay catch projection at other times bearing on the firing pin in such a manner as to maintain the said interlocking engagement effective.
