    摘要： An apparatus for processing a histological sample to be embedded in an embedding material comprising a dispensing system (8) of embedding material arranged to dispense different layers of embedding material in the liquid state. The dispensing system (8) comprises:
    - a containment tank (9) for receiving solid grains of embedding material,
    - at least one hopper (11) configured to gradually convey the material poured within the containment tank (9),
    - at least one heated container (15) arranged to receive material still in a solid state conveyed by the hopper (11) and to melt the solid grains making the gradually received embedding material in the liquid state,
    - at least one dispensing device (17) operatively connected to the heated container (15), arranged to automatically regulate the outflow of liquid material to be poured within a containment group (G) containing a histological sample,
    - wherein the containment tank (9), the hopper (11) and the heated container (15) are connected to each other in cascade, so that limited quantities of embedding material received in the solid state from the hopper (11) are gradually melted in the heated container (15), compared to the total quantity introduced within the containment tank (9).
