    摘要: A method for recording and pre-processing high fidelity vibratory seismic data includes measuring the motion of the vibrator (36) which is related to the vibrator applied force times a transfer function of minimum phase, causal, linar system relating the actual vibrator output with the measured vibrator motion, determining a ratio (52) by dividing the vibratory seismic data by the measured motion of the vibrator to remove the unknown applied force leaving the earcj reflectivity times a time derivative divided by a minimum phase function, minimum phase band pass filtering the resulting ratio and performing mimimum phase deconvolution to remove the time derivative divided by the transfer function of mimimum phase. The method may also include the steps of receiver ensemble deconvolution (56), statics correction (58), F-K filtering for noise (60), zero phase spiking deconvolution (64) and model dephasing (66). The actual signal that the vibrator (36) is sending into the ground is used in pre-processing.

    摘要: One or more seismic sources impart seismic pulses into the earth in a coded sequence. The coded sequence is composed of a minimum of three cycles of a Galois sequence of order N, where N is a positive integer. The response of subsurface formations to the coded sequence is obtained and correlated with one cycle of the outgoing Galois sequence of the same order. Correlation properties of the Galois sequences provide a way to sum a large number of seismograms that are superimposed in time, improving the signal to noise ratio while keeping the field time in which the seismograms are obtained to a minimum. Using this encoding technique, responses of subsurface formations to concurrent activation of each of several sources can be obtained and separated from each other.

The method includes determining (600) a first fixed shooting sequence for a first bandlimited seismic source (210); determining (602) a second shooting sequence for a second bandlimited seismic source (220), wherein the second shooting sequence includes second shooting positions that correspond to second energy emissions, and the second energy emissions differ from the first energy emissions in at least one of an emission time, phase and amplitude; receiving (604) raw seismic data recorded with seismic receivers (252) and generated as a result of the first and second energy emissions, wherein the raw seismic data is indicative of seismic wave paths from the first and second bandlimited seismic sources to the seismic receivers; separating (606) the raw seismic data into a first bandlimited set corresponding to the first bandlimited seismic source and a second bandlimited set corresponding to the second bandlimited seismic source; and correcting (608) the seismic wave paths, from the first and second bandlimited seismic sources to the seismic receivers, based on at least one of the first and second bandlimited sets.
