Data transferred from the host computer to each NC machine tool is converted to NC data by each high speed data processor and is then inputted to the NC apparatus. In this way, conversion of the NC data by each NC apparatus and the host computer becomes unnecessary. Machining data transferred from the host computer is stored in each high speed data processor so as to allow the machine tool to continue the machining operation, so that the limit of timing of the data transfer can be eliminated.
