    摘要： Um JDF-Dateien in einem Verfahren zur Erzeugung eines Druckproduktes im Arbeitsspeicher eines Computers als Repräsentation darstellen zu können, müssen diese Dateien zunächst in einen DOM-Baum gewandelt werden. Diese Wandlung ist sehr zeitaufwendig. Was auch für einzelne Verarbeitungsschritte gilt.
    Zur Beschleunigung der Codier- und Bearbeitungsschritte ist es vorgesehen, dass in einem Speicher wenigstens eine Datei in einem ersten Datenformat hinterlegt wird,
    die Datei wenigstens Informationen für das Verfahren zur Erzeugung des Druckproduktes enthält,
    die Datei in eine Repräsentation in einen Arbeitsspeicher eines Computers dekodiert wird, das erste Datenformat wenigstens zwei Speicherbereiche aufweist,
    ein erster Speicherbereich Attribute für zu Verwendende Verfahrensschritte und/oder Materialen des Druckprozesses und/oder des Druckproduktes umfasst,
    die Repräsentation auch wenigstens zwei Speicherbereiche aufweist und wobei wenigstens die Daten eines ersten Speicherbereiches der Repräsentation im Wesentlichen identisch mit den Daten wenigstens eines ersten Speicherbereiches der Datei des ersten Datenformats ist.

    摘要： In an embodiment, a method in a server end station for efficiently providing customized user interfaces for an application is provided. The method includes transforming augmented style rules into style generation code. The augmented style rules includes both style syntax and a set of one or more expressions including a set of variables. The augmented style rules are not valid according to a style standard of the style syntax, and the style generation code, when executed by invocations using input variables corresponding to the set of variables, generates a set of valid style rules according to the style standard. The style generation code is transmitted to a user equipment device of a user, which when executed, causes a customized user interface to be presented to the user.

    摘要： To resolve compatibility issues between font file formats and user agents such as web browsers, a font repository may determine a compatible font file format upon receiving a request from the user agent for a font. The determination may be made based on the type of user agent making the request. In one or more arrangements, if a font file in the compatible font file format is not available at the repository, a request may be transmitted to another repository. A font reference in a style sheet or code defining the network document may be unique to the font, but common to all font files corresponding to the font. An application for facilitating the generation of a network document may thus automatically generate such a code in response to a user selecting a desired font.
