摘要： Methods and apparatuses are provided for facilitating gesture recognition. A method may include constructing a matrix based at least in part on an input gesture and a template gesture. The method may further include determining whether a relationship determined based at least in part on the constructed matrix satisfies a predefined threshold. In an instance in which the relationship does not satisfy the predefined threshold, the method may also include eliminating the template gesture from further consideration for recognition of the input gesture. In an instance in which the relationship satisfies the predefined threshold, the method may further include determining a rotation matrix based at least in part on the constructed matrix.

摘要： A service that performs automatic selection and recommendation of featurization(s) for a provided dataset and machine learning application is described. The service can be a cloud service. Selection/recommendation can cover multiple featurizations that are available for most common raw data formats (e.g., images and text data). Provided a dataset and a task, the service can evaluate different possible featurizations, selecting one or more based on performance, similarity of dataset and task to known datasets with featurizations known to have high predictive accuracy on similar tasks low predictive error, training via learning algorithms to take multiple inputs, etc. The service may include a request-response aspect that provides access to the best featurization selected for the given dataset and task.

摘要： A device for optical character reading comprising an optical reading unit, a video detector, a segmenting unit, a video buffer, a recognition unit and a controlling micro computer. The computer controls the setting of the threshold value in the video detector, and calculates by means of profile data received from the segmenting unit coordinates for a starting point for recognizing a character in the recognition unit. A comparator in the recognition unit compares bit by bit mask bits from a read only storage with corresponding data bits from the video buffer and stores the result into a status register. A recognized character is transferred from the read only storage to a character register, the computer is interrupted and a character is transferred from the recognition unit to the computer. The video detector comprises selectively connectable and computer controlled attenuation resistors for setting up a threshold signal curve simulating the form for the video signal curve.
