摘要: Coin selector, of the type of coin selector consisting of a main body housing an electronic base plate and a hinged lid, in such a way that when the coins enter they collide against a flat metallic body and during their travel they encounter a series of sensors, housed between the main body and the lid, in order to measure different parameters with the aim of selecting those that are valid, in such a way that the metallic body (6) for collision of the coins on their entrance into the selector (1) presents a curvo-concave collision surface (7) extended in a flat surface and which incorporates three pairs of ferrite bodies (8, 9 and 10) and three photocells (11, 12 and 13), two photocells being arranged in relation to the central part of two pairs of ferrite bodies.

摘要: Coin sensor system for automatic vending machines, used preferably in all automatic machines and apparatus which are operated by inserting coins and which are power supplied by batteries. The sensor system comprises a metal body (3) integral with the structure of the selector (1) arranged in relation to the introductory slot of coins into the selector wherein the coins bump into each other. Sensor means are provided to detect the mechanical vibrations of the collisions or impacts of coins with the metal part in order to transform such mechanical vibration into an electric vibration, means for cleaning the square wave provided by the comparator, means for activating the switch for supplying power to the electronic coin control and measuring system, and means for desactivating the power supply switch to the electronic control and measuring system.

摘要: A coin sensor, such as a post acceptance sensor for a coin validator, at a coin sensing station (12) on a coin path (10) having a sidewall (16), includes optical source and detector pairs (13a, 14a; 13b, 14b) that detect the presence of the coin by reflection of source radiation to the detector by the coin's surface. In order to improve sensitivity the side wall has an angled surface configuration (20) which exhibits reflection of radiation from each source (13a, b) to the detectors (14a, b) in the absence of a coin.

摘要: A coin escrow includes a storage chamber (2) having a side wall (3) and a base (5). In use, coins are stacked edge to edge in the storage chamber (2). The escrow includes one or more projections (10) which are moveable in the chamber (2) in the sideways direction. The projections (10) are biased towards the side wall (3) and engage one face of a coin stored in the storage chamber (2). Wide and consequently heavier coins displace the projections as they run along the base (5) of the storage chamber (2) but narrow and consequently lighter coins do not displace the projections (10). The projections hence prevent narrow coins from overlapping one another in the sideways direction in the storage chamber (2). In one example, the projections (10) are provided by balls projecting through a side wall opposing the one side wall (3). The balls are gravity-biased.

摘要: A sloping surface (411) slopes downward. Longwise ribs (421) are provided to be adjacent to each other on the sloping surface. The longwise ribs extend from an upper area of the sloping surface to a lower area of the sloping surface. A diagonal rib (431) diagonally crosses a direction orthogonal to a direction of a gravitational force on the sloping surface. The diagonal rib is not taller than the longwise rib.
