    摘要： A dictating and transcribing system includes a cartridge (70) carrying a plurality of individual recording media, such as tape cassettes, and a means for selectively positioning the cartridge with respect to a record/listen transducer (66) to place any one of the recording media in a recording position. Automatic access and re-access to any of the recording media may be obtained during dictation or transcription without manual handling of individual recording media. The cartridge is preferably rotatably driven about its center and slidably receives the recording media in locations radially disposed about the center of the cartridge.

    摘要： A removable tape cassette carrier for carrying a plurality of individual tape cassettes (80) has a pair of parallel plates (72) spaced apart by pillars (77). Flexible guides (74) between the plates (72) serve to hold the cassettes in position. The plates are provided with a central aperture (78) locating over the shaft of an automatic cassette changing apparatus. Next to each cassette position in the carrier is provided a locator opening (81) which cooperates with a locator key on the tape deck of the apparatus to locate the carrier accurately relative to the playing head after rotation of the carrier, for example.
