A media treatment device for an optical disc publisher, capable of efficiently disposing media such as defective CDs without using manpower. To produce a medium by an optical disc publisher (5), a blank medium (14) received in a feeding side stacker (13) is taken out by a media conveyance mechanism (12) and conveyed to a media drive (15), and predetermined data are written on the medium. A printing surface of the medium where the data are normally written is subjected to printing by a label printer (19). The medium after the production is stored in a storage side stacker (22). The recording surface of a defective medium having a write failure is mechanically destroyed by a media disposal mechanism (23) while the medium is moved on a medium tray (71) of the printer (19), thereby the data are not readable. The medium after the above process is discharged from a media discharge opening (25).

An automatic disk feeding device for a disk duplication device and method thereof which comprises two transport assemblies (2) disposed at both sides of a disc holder (1). Each transport assembly (2) comprises a linkage disk (20) which drives a connecting rod (30) to rotate, and then the connecting rod (30) moves a sliding block (50) which cooperates with a push member (60) and a slide rail (70) to slide to and fro. The sliding block (50) is defined with slant pushing grooves (52), and the slide rail (70) is defined with L-shaped tracks (71). The push member (60) is provided with pushing protrusions (61) and guiding protrusions (62) inserted in the pushing grooves (61) and the L-shaped tracks (71). Thereby, the push members (60) can clamp the disc by a horizontal extending method firstly, and then lift the disc, thus automatically taking out the disc in a small space.

A transport arm device for carrying at least one disc comprising a driving means, a sway control member, and a swaying mechanism is disclosed. The sway control member comprises a hole in substantial middle of the sway control member for receiving a portion of the driving means and two leaf springs extending up from two sides of the sway control member respectively. The swaying mechanism is capable of grabbing the discs. The swaying mechanism comprises a rotating connection for engaging with a suspension of the transport arm device, wherein the two leaf springs are contacted with the swaying mechanism. The sway control member is moved by the driving means so as to rotate the swaying mechanism along a rotary axis on the rotating connection, and the two leaf springs provide elasticity for the swaying mechanism rotating back.
