摘要： The present disclosure is directed in various embodiments to membrane switches generally. More specifically, a membrane switch is provided that may be exposed to sterilization processes, including vacuum processes without damaging the switch. Thus, the inventive membrane switch comprises a gas permeable, liquid impermeable membrane layer. In various embodiments, the membrane switch may be used in rotational atherectomy systems. However, the membrane switch of the present invention has wide application beyond rotational atherectomy.

Dabei wird die Taste (10, 11) durch eine Rückstellkraft in ihrer Ruhelage gehalten und ist gegen die Wirkung dieser Rückstellkraft eindrückbar. Es ist ein Befestigungsring (20) vorgesehen, mit dem der Türöffnerschalter auf der Befestigungsfläche (50) fixierbar ist. Der Flansch (15) des Gehäuses (14, 60) überdeckt dabei den Befestigungsring (20) vollständig, und es ist ein Supportring (30) vorgesehen, mit dem der Taster (10) mit dem Befestigungsring (20) verriegelbar ist, so dass die Auslösefläche (11) der Taste (10) die Befestigungselemente (21) an dem Paneel (50) abdeckt, insbesondere also eine grössere Fläche als seine eigene Befestigungsgrundfläche überlagert.
