    Die Aufgabe der Erfindung, einen Sicherungsstecker für den zuverlässigen Schutz vor Überspannungen zu entwickeln, der vereinfacht ausgeführt ist und eine automatisierbare Fertigung mit geringen Kosten gewährleistet, wird dadurch gelöst, daß das aus zwei flachen Aufnahmehälften 2,3 gebildete Gehäuse 1 mittels eines Filmscharniers 4 aufklappbar ist, wobei die Gehäuseteilung in der Ebene der Steckerkontakte 5,6 vorgesehen ist und wobei in der einen Aufnahmehälfte 2 des Gehäuses 1 das Sicherungselement 7, Steckerkontakte 5,6 und eine Anzeigeeinrichtung 19 mit einem Signalelement 15 angeordnet sind.
