    摘要: Disclosed is an organic light-emitting display device capable of blocking the infiltration of oxygen and moisture, etc., simplifying the process and effectively preventing light leakage. In one embodiment, the organic light-emitting display device is a double side emission type organic light-emitting display device having at least two pixel regions (105,106) emitting light in different directions. The device includes a first substrate (100) with first and second pixel regions (105,106) wherein a plurality of organic light-emitting diodes are formed. The device further includes a non-pixel region around the first and the second pixel-regions, a second substrate (200) disposed on the upper part of the first substrate to be overlapped with the first and the second pixel regions and a part of the non-pixel region, and a frit (300) provided between the first and the second substrates to be overlapped with at least one of the first and the second pixel regions and at least a part of the non-pixel region, where the frit in the non-pixel region is formed to be thicker than the frit opposing the first or the second pixel region. The first and the second substrates are adhered to each other by the frit in the part corresponding to the non-pixel region.

    摘要: Provided is an organic EL device having a lower power consumption and high performance and enabling to display separate pictures on bidirectional screens as well as to display the same picture on the bidirectional screens, and a driving apparatus thereof. The organic EL device includes: a first organic EL panel (30) for a unidirectional display; and a second organic EL panel (30') for a unidirectional display, each of the first and second organic EL panels having a substrate, a first electrode, an emitting layer and a second electrode, wherein the first organic EL panel and the second organic EL panel are coupled so as to display pictures in bidirections. According to the present invention, a sufficient brightness can be obtained even under a low power. Also, since an opaque cathode is used, performance and transmittance are enhanced compared with the related art organic EL device using a transparent cathode.

    摘要: A double-sided display device(1) includes a pair of substrates(11A, 11B), on which self-emitting elements(10A, 10B) are formed respectively, being bonded to each other. A lead wiring section(20A) of the self-emitting element area formed on one of the substrates and a lead wiring section(208) of the self-emitting element area formed on the other substrate are formed on the same side of the substrates. Each of the lead wiring sections is formed in a part of the side of each of the substrates. In addition, cutout portions (21A, 21B) are formed in parts of the sides of the substrates where the lead wiring sections are not formed. Thus, in the double-sided display device, the lead wiring sections formed on ends of substrates can be easily connected with a driving circuit component(3), a wiring substrate(2) or the like, while the space for the double-sided display device can be reduced.

    摘要: A multi view display comprising a light emitting element having an optical cavity formed by a first and a second reflecting layer, at least said second reflecting layer being semi-transparent, and a light emitting layer arranged between said reflecting layers, wherein said optical cavity is designed so that light emitted in at least two preferred viewing directions has a higher intensity than light emitted in other directions. The invention is based on interference phenomena in the optical cavity, making it possible to realize a light emitting element that intrinsically emits more light in the preferential viewing directions than in other directions. This emission profile makes the light emitting element very useful in a multi view display, reducing the problems of cross talk.
