It includes a program information acquiring unit 1 and 2 for obtaining program list information; a program information extracting unit 3 for extracting information on a program content and information on broadcast time for each broadcast program from the program list information acquired, and for outputting as program content information and broadcast time information on each broadcast program; a preference information retaining unit 5 for storing preference tendency of the user for broadcast programs as preference information; a preference fitness estimating unit 4 for ranking on the basis of a grade as to fitness of each broadcast program for user's preference according to the preference information and program content information, and for outputting as fitness information; and an automatic tuning unit 6 and 1 for automatically tuning to the broadcast program with the highest fitness information among the broadcast programs during a designated time slot according to the broadcast time information and fitness information.

    摘要： A method for selection of content on a device allows a radio to scan (406) for desired (e.g. audio) selections being broadcast in accordance with a defined priority list that has been pre-stored (404). A found selection is played (408) in order of priority and then placed back (410) in the priority list in accordance with a prioritization logic. Desired content is identified by a digital signature or audio clip, for example. Associated with the identifier can be user interface settings (400), such as audio controls, and even vehicle settings such as window position, sun roof, moon roof, or convertible roof top, for example. The user interface can be used to store (402) and sort identifiers and to provide control settings to the user in audio or video format.

    摘要： The invention concerns a method for selecting audio contents transmitted by broadcasting channels and received by an audio or audio-visual receiver. A user first selects a received content and launches reproduction. Then, the receiver will automatically search among the contents transmitted by the broadcasting channels a content whereof the audio parameters has values close to the values of a content previously selected and reproduces same at the end of the current content. The operation is repeated each time the current content is over. In accordance with an improvement, the receiver is provided with a memory for time-shifting the reproduction of the content thereby providing better synchronization of the reproduction in time of the different selected contents. The invention also concerns an apparatus capable of selecting audio contents derived from several channels and having almost similar audio characteristics and of automatically reproducing same.
