摘要: According to at least one aspect, a communication system is provided. The communication system includes a power amplifier configured to amplify an input signal to generate an amplified output signal and provide the amplified output signal to an antenna, a power supply coupled to the power amplifier and configured to provide power to the power amplifier based on a power supply control signal, and a controller coupled to the power supply. The controller is configured to identify a target transmit power level for transmission of a wireless signal, generate the power supply control signal based on the target transmit power level using information indicative of a relationship between the target transmit power level and a setting of the power supply, generate performance information indicative of a characteristic of the communication system when the wireless signal is transmitted, and update the information indicative of the relationship using the performance information.

摘要: In an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) communication system using multiple transmit antennas, a first base sequence with a first length is segmented into a first number of second sequences to which different time offsets are applied. Subsequences of a first preamble sequence corresponding to the number of second sequences are generated. A second base sequence with a second length is segmented into a second number of third sequences to which different time offsets are applied. Subsequences of a second preamble sequence corresponding to the number of third sequences are generated. A subsequence is selected from the subsequences of the first preamble sequence and is transmitted through a transmit antenna in a first time interval. A third preset number of subsequences are selected from the subsequences of the second preamble sequence, and are mapped and transmitted to the transmit antennas in a second time interval.

摘要: A transmitter for a mobile device utilizes at least one mapper in order to improve power efficiency while still meeting out of band spurious emissions and waveform quality requirements. An encoder and modulator generates an encoded and modulated transmit signal from an input signal. A digital to analog converter coupled to the encoder and modulator generates an analog representation of the encoded and modulated transmit signal. An amplifier stage coupled to the digital to analog converter amplifies the analog representation of the encoded and modulated transmit signal to generate a transmission signal. The transmitter further comprises an amplifier control block configured to generate an amplifier control signal for adjusting at least one parameter of the amplifier stage. At least one mapper is provided in the amplifier control block, used to determine the amplifier control signal based on a peak to average power ratio and an average transmit power of the transmission signal. Environmental and operating conditions of the transmitter may be accounted for as well in the mappers.

The method includes: performing, by a transmit end, transmit power enhancement processing on a target field of a preamble in a wireless local area network WLAN system, where the target field includes one or more fields, except a non-legacy signal field, in a non-legacy field of the preamble in the WLAN system; and sending, by the transmit end, a receive end the preamble on which transmit power enhancement processing has been performed. In the embodiments of the present invention, transmit power enhancement processing is performed on a non-legacy field of a preamble in a wireless local area network WLAN system, which can improve an overall throughput rate c1f the system, so that data transmission performance and user experience can be enhanced.

The input signal includes a clipping signal that reduces a peak amplitude of a source signal based on a predetermined clipping level. The input signal is transposed to a plurality of transposed signals using a plurality of multipliers. A feedback signal is generated based on the plurality of transposed signals using a first plurality of delay taps. A windowing signal is generated based on the feedback signal. The windowing signal is used to reduce a crest factor of the source signal.
